Welcome to JaxPunx, where the past comes alive, the memories echo, and the punk spirit lives on!
Our mission is to record the punk music history of North East Florida in the form of stories told by the people who were there. We have already lost so many awesome punks from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 2000s.
We need your help to get these stories recorded. The format is two or more punks in a room swapping stories of the punk scene back in the day. We would love to come record you and your pals in person with our professional equipment but since so many are crossing over these days, we ask that you use your phone to record your story. Share your videos wit us and we will create your episode giving you full credits. Each episode will have a page on this website with the flyers and photos we collected.
You can now join our community and upload your videos, photos, flyers, and chat amongst yourselves here on jaxpunx.com. Promote shows and venues.

It’s Our Story…
This passion project is for punks by punks. It’s our collective history patched together by the perspective and memories of each punk.

Raef Goodwin grew up in the 80s and has been in the punk scene since high school. We attended the same schools in Riverside. Raef first approached Brenda after gathering up old photos and recording of the band Body Count. He wanted a way to document, preserve and promote the rich punk music history of Jacksonville, Fl.
